2 Days Training Workshop for the managing comities of the cooperative housing Societies in Punjab

The Punjab Institute of Cooperative Studies (PICS) successfully organized a two-day training workshop, held from 29th to 30th June, aimed at enhancing the capacity and legal understanding of management committees of housing societies across Pakistan.

The workshop focused on educating committee members about their statutory roles and responsibilities under the prevailing cooperative laws. Key areas of instruction included the legal procedures for land procurement, membership cancellation protocols, and the timely submission of mandatory reports and information to the Registrar of Cooperatives, as required by law.

This initiative was part of PICS’s ongoing efforts to promote good governance, legal compliance, and transparent administrative practices within the cooperative housing sector.
