Facilities at PICS Faisalabad: Supporting Your Learning Journey
The Punjab Institute of Cooperative Studies (PICS) in Faisalabad is equipped with modern and comprehensive facilities designed to provide an optimal learning environment and comfortable stay for our students, faculty, and visiting guests. We continuously strive to enhance our infrastructure to support all educational, training, and residential needs.
1. State-of-the-Art Library
Our well-stocked, closed-shelf Library is a cornerstone of our academic support, housing 7,234 books (as per stock register) across a diverse range of subjects. Our collection spans Cooperation, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Book-keeping, Accounting, Auditing, Marketing, Business Management, Banking, Cooperative Law and other relevant laws, History, Literature, and General Knowledge.
This extensive collection plays a crucial role in supporting and supplementing all educational and training activities. We are proud recipients of valuable donations from esteemed organizations such as the International Cooperative Alliance, International Labor Office, Asia Foundation, and various district officers, enriching our resources. Beyond books, the library regularly receives monthly Imdad-e-Bahme and various law journals. Our facilities are readily available to teachers, trainees, and even officers from the Cooperative Department who can avail borrowing privileges. A dedicated, permanent seating area accommodates 24 readers, providing a conducive environment for study. Furthermore, a new, dedicated library is currently being established within the Ladies Campus.
2. Comprehensive Accommodation Facilities
PICS offers comfortable and secure residential options for various members of our community:
Officers’ Hostel: Features ten well-appointed rooms, a spacious dining hall, and a common room for relaxation and interaction.
Trainee Barracks: Four barracks comprising sixteen dormitories, providing ample accommodation for our trainees.
Ladies Hostel: Dedicated, secure hostel facilities specifically for our female trainees.

3. Guest House
Our campus is facilitated with a comfortable Guest House, offering convenient accommodation for visiting dignitaries, guest speakers, and short-term visitors.
4. Modern IT Lab
A fully equipped IT Lab has been established within the college, providing essential resources for digital literacy and practical IT education. Computer sets are readily available, enabling trainees to gain proficiency in relevant software and digital tools crucial for modern cooperative management.
5. Auditorium & Showroom
An exclusive Auditorium for Ladies is currently under establishment within the Cooperative Training College, designed with all necessary facilities for lectures, seminars, and events. This new addition will also feature a dedicated Showroom, where products from various Cooperative Women Institutions will be displayed and made available for sale to the public, fostering economic empowerment and showcasing the success of women-led cooperatives.
